I graduated in 1987 from Chattanooga Central High School in Chattanooga, TN. Upon graduation I joined the United States Navy nuclear engineering program as a nuclear power plant operator. After two years of training, I spent three years on USS Bainbridge followed by a year on USS Enterprise. I have been blessed to travel the world from the tip of South America to the Arctic Circle. After 6 years in the Navy, I spent the next 25 years at two different manufacturing facilities spending most of my time in industrial/process engineering. After my wife graduated with a biology education degree she was looking for a job when she found the engineering teacher job posted at one of our local high schools. The rest is history. We now both work at the same high school and it is without question the best decision of my life.
