Victoria Pasquantonio is education producer at the PBS NewsHour and a former middle and high school social studies and English teacher of 13 years. Victoria runs Classroom, NewsHour's learning resource website, and is the director of Journalism in Action: Civic Engagement and Primary Sources Through Key Moments in US History, an interactive website supported by the Library of Congress. She has extensive knowledge and experience in the intersection of inquiry-based learning and educational technology in ways that make learning fun and meaningful across subjects. Victoria constantly forges relationships with other educational organizations including ed tech, which she says greatly strengthens the quality of resources Classroom produces. She also works daily with teachers who write lessons for Classroom on civics, history, STEM, media literacy and the arts, and advises the education team on specific curricular needs related to current events and pedagogy.
