Toby is an innovative educational leader. In his 27 years in education, he has worked as a high school Math Teacher, middle school Technology Teacher, Instructional and Technology Coach, urban high school Assistant Principal, middle school Principal, and currently the Teacher Preparation Instructor at Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools in central Ohio. He is also an Educational Technology Professor at Otterbein University. Toby has keynoted and facilitated over 100 sessions at conferences on topics ranging from technology integration, AI, leadership, skills attainment, career exploration and awareness. He is the co-founder of Edcamp Columbus and FReD talks. He is currently working on his doctorate at Miami University. His research is focused on the impact career exploration has on the academic success of middle school students.
