Dr. Tina Barrios spent 22 years as a district administrator and 18 years as a high school science teacher and Instructional Technology Specialist. Earning her Masters in Computer Applications and PhD in Instructional technology while being a classroom teacher afforded her a unique perspective on supporting technology for teaching and learning. Under her leadership, the district implemented a highly successful 1-2-1 laptop program. As Assistant Superintendent of Information Systems in Technology she brought in over 30 million dollars of federal funding to support technology in the classroom. Tina brings a strong background in project management with experience in implementation of both student and finance systems. She has a thorough understanding of hardware and software needs for teaching and learning and has proven visionary leadership skills.
