Tim Barnes is a former classroom teacher with a decade of experience. He dedicated his teaching career to a small, rural school district in Western Pennsylvania. During his tenure, he successfully established a robust STEM and Computer Technology program. Tim specialized in instructing students from grades 7 to 12 in Business and Computer Technology, offering various courses such as Computer Science 1 & 2, Business and Entrepreneurship Technology, General Computers, Computer Hardware & Software, Graphic Design, and many others. Tim has since joined the CMU CS Academy team, driven by his passion for increasing access to Computer Science education. He is committed to sharing the free and comprehensive CMU CS Academy content that played a vital role in his classroom and its success.
