Stacey Mooney has spent the majority of her profession as a Mathematics Curriculum and Instructional Specialist and Educator. She spent sixteen years in a high-performing NYC middle school serving as a Math teacher and Math Coach, helping lead the school to become one of the most top-performing schools in the entire district. She has also served as a Mathematics Academic Intervention Specialist and an Instructional Coach. Presently she is a Program Specialist and Consultant at WSBOCES. She has focused much of her career on data analysis, curriculum design, and instructional support and development. Stacey has worked in conjunction with NYSED to develop and align standardized mathematics assessments as well. Professional development in SEL, DEI, mentoring, and school culture are also all areas she loves to work with extensively. Stacey has been published in several professional educational journals and has received numerous awards for her roles as a volunteer, educator, and leader. She has her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education, her Masters of Science degree as a Mathematics Specialist, and her Educational Administration degrees for Building and District Leadership. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Saint Peter’s University.
