Silvia Rogel is currently the Director of Strategic Partners and Project Director for CSEL at The Center. Her work involves connecting with partners to forge relationships that are advantageous to the organizations and the individuals served by CSEL. Currently, she works closely with The Center’s Legislative Liaison to engender support for Center programs and future initiatives, including CSEL. She is also garnering partner support for multicultural and multilingual education programs whose goal is to champion, advocate for, and offer professional learning opportunities for educators who serve a multitude of students from all walks of life, from PreK - adult education. She has extensive experience coordinating large educational conferences, seminars, and other professional development. She has worked in office administration and leadership, strategic planning, and project management in the non-profit sector for over a decade. She currently serves on the Illinois State Education Equity Committee and its Elevating Educators subcommittee, as well as the Board of Directors for United Palatine Coalition.
