Samatha earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Virginia’s College at Wise and a Master of Arts in Teaching from East Tennessee State University. She has over 15 years of classroom experience, with the majority of her tenure being spent as an AP Biology teacher at Dobyns-Bennett High School, in Kingsport.
