Ryan Ruggles is currently the Superintendent of Tomorrow River Schools in Wisconsin, and has been an educational administrator for over 18 years. Previously, he served as the Director of Teaching & Learning with the School District of Milton (WI) and as a middle level principal in Wisconsin and at an international school in Doha, Qatar. Additionally, Ryan serves as President for the Wisconsin affiliate of ASCD, is an Adjunct Professor for Concordia University (WI), and consults as part of Compass Educational Leadership. He coauthored the book, Successful Middle School Instructional Technology, published by AMLE in 2023. Overall, Ryan is passionate about instructional technology, global education, and leadership! He is a strong advocate for creating Graduate Profiles and promoting future readiness in our schools. Personally, Ryan is married to Kristi who is also the best ELA teacher/librarian he has ever met! Together, they have three incredible children (Grace, Sam, and Jacob) who amaze them daily with their gifts and personalities. As a family they love to travel and explore the world.
