Rick is currently the Superintendent at Archuleta School District. Rick has held positions at Roaring Fork Schools since 2008, including periods as Middle School Principal, Director of Curriculum and Instruction and his current position as Chief Academic Officer. Prior to moving to Roaring Fork school district, Rick held teaching positions in rural Alaska schools in Elim and Bering Strait, and also served as an Educational Consultant for Reinventing Schools Coalition in Talkeetna, Alaska. Rick holds degrees from St. Michaels College in Vermont with a B.S. in Business Administration, Seattle Pacific University with a B.S. in Biology and University of Alaska with a Masters in Educational Leadership.
