Paul Smith is an accomplished IT executive with over three decades of experience at Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS), leading transformative technology initiatives across network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT management. Currently Paul serves as the District Technology Officer for M-DCPS. Paul is currently spearheading the project to implement cloud disaster recovery, and the deployment of a zero-trust security framework. He has a proven track record of leveraging technology to improve educational outcomes and is excited to share insights on cloud disaster recovery and business impact analysis with FETC community.
