Patrick Donovan is an Instructional Coach at Ames High School in Ames, IA. Patrick has been a Technology Integration Specialist, Director of Technology, and High School Science Teacher. He is a current Board member and past Board President of the Iowa Technology and Education Connection (ITEC) Board. Patrick has taught various courses at Iowa State University as part of their teacher education program and has earned multiple Masters of Education from Iowa State University and is beginning his Doctorate program this year. Patrick is also currently a high school esports coach, having helped to start the program at two different school districts. Patrick has a passion for focusing on accessibility so that we can make learning accessible for all students. He believes that technology should not be the focus of our learning but is a tool that we can use to get to the levels of teaching and learning that we desire. We have the ability to do things in the classroom these days that were not possible before, to improve learning for every student in our schools.
