Lead Presenter: Doug Austin, CTO - Chief Technology Officer Doug Austin was appointed chief technology officer in June 2013. He began his career at SSD in 2004 as systems administrator and was promoted to the director of information systems in 2011, and to interim chief technology officer in 2012. Prior to working at SSD, Austin served as the director of technology services for New Horizons Computer Learning Center. Austin holds a wide range of certifications in security technologies, networking, enterprise systems administration and enterprise resource planning software technologies. Co-Presenter: Nicole Brentlinger, Ed.S, Director of Student Services - Assistive Technology With dual certification in speech-language pathology and special education and over 20 years of experience, Nicole's administrative role allows her to specialize in assistive technology and augmentative communication. Her passion lies in empowering students with diverse needs, advocating for inclusive practices, and fostering collaborative partnerships with educators, parents, and communities. As Director of Student Services - Assistive Technology, Nicole is committed to ensuring equitable access to education for every student.
