Melanie Winstead is a National Board and ISTE Certified Teacher who has taught English at both the high school and middle school level. She holds Master’s degrees in English Education and School Administration. She is currently the Academic Coach, Beginning Teacher Program Coordinator, and Licensure Coordinator at Roxboro Community School in North Carolina. In this role, she coaches teachers in effective pedagogical practices, coordinates and leads professional development for all staff members, and coordinates and leads the support and mentoring program for all of the school’s beginning teachers.
