Dr. Miller has completed 37 year in public education and serves as the Superintendent of Antwerp Local Schools in Ohio. For the past three years, Dr. Miller has been selected as a Finalist for the Ohio Outstanding Superintendent Award by the MHJ Foundation. He is also a two-time finalist for the Tech and Learning Magazine's Innovative Leader Award. In recent years, his high school has earned the U.S. News and World Report ranking of Best Schools in America. Dr. Miller has on three occasions (2008, 2017, & 2019) participated in China Bridge Delegation for the purpose of studying the Chinese educational system. In 2016, Dr. Miller was the recipient of the BASA Global Leaders’ Summit scholarship that afforded him the opportunity to visit Finland and study their educational system. In 2008, Dr. Miller was the recipient of the Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund scholarship allotting him the opportunity to study the Japanese educational system. Through his travels, Dr. Miller has sat in classrooms in twelve countries, on four continents. Dr. Miller has also served as a presenter for the past three years at the FETC and AASA National Conferences and attended Leadership Summits in several European countries.
