I am currently the Educational Technology Integrationist for grades K-6 at Bellows Free Academy in Fairfax, VT, I have been been teaching for 21 years and have always been a strong advocate of using technology in the classroom, which led me to my current position, which I have been in for three years. In this role, I work with students and staff in grades K-6 to implement technology in the classroom with intention. My goal is to use technology as a way to enhance the content and open up doors that were closed before. Projects range from coding to geocaching to 3D printing and to running a student-led news program, to name just a few. The possibilities with technology are endless! When not at school playing with technology, I am busy running around with my two kids to figure skating events and dance practice. Every once in a while, I get to play in the dirt to do some gardening or relax with a juicy book.
