Lauren D’Apuzzo is a professional development specialist with over 10 years of experience in education. Certified in both Art and Computer Science, she is a specialist in the integration of technology and visual art. Lauren works at Broward County Public Schools where she facilitates a grant-based program: 3-Dimension Zones (3Dz). 3Dz’s focus is teaching educators how to incorporate digital tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, and virtual reality devices to reinforce understanding of the fundamentals of 3-dimensional space and design, by strengthening students’ spatial thinking skills.
