Kirsten brings over two decades of experience in education, serving as an instructional coach, elementary principal, and now as Director of Elementary Education at Ceres Unified. Committed to fostering excellence, Kirsten champions collaborative learning environments supported by innovative practices. Guiding a team of instructional coaches, Kirsten ensures quality tier 1 instruction aligns with student needs. She derives energy from rallying teachers and administrators, inspiring them to take action around initiatives and is passionate about providing the support needed. Kirsten recently led 14 elementary schools through a transformative journey towards Proficiency Based Learning, creating environments built on teacher and student clarity and high academic expectations. Kirsten ensures alignment with Education Technology Services department, leveraging technology as a tool to enhance learning experiences. Kirsten's leadership has been instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and student-centered learning. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family.
