Katie Moran is a former high school history teacher who currently works as a New Teacher Mentor and Instructional Technology Resource Teacher. She works to support classroom teachers in developing educational technology skills and digital methodologies to enhance best practices in their instruction. She creates professional development based on relevant technologies to provide a wide range of training opportunities, both individually and in large-group settings. Katie is a Google for Education Certified Trainer specializing in practical, ready-to-use advice and resources to help teachers maximize their workflow and increase student learning opportunities. She speaks at numerous national and state conferences including FETC and Virginia Society for Technology in Education (VSTE), and she presents at online events such as Shake Up Learning’s Summer Learning Series.
