Julie is a passionate networker, connector, and implementation strategist who enjoys assisting in creating esports and innovative STEAM programs. Julie has developed a global network that connects esports professional technology industry partners and colleges with school districts and organizations to build personalized esports, drones, and STEAM solutions. Julie creates esports ecosystems for class, club, and competition to prepare students for internships and their pursuit of college and career. Julie is an MIE Expert and serves as a MinecraftEdu, Drone Legends, and GenE Ambassador. She has trained teachers worldwide and has been featured on several esports webinars and podcasts. Her passion for networking has allowed her to present on all facets of esports program development at FETC, TCEA, ISTE, DreamHack, and NAECAD. Julie is also an esports and gaming Mentor, the 2022 NAECAD High School Esports Director of the Year, EdTech Magazine 2023 IT Rising Star, the 2024 the*gameHERS Guardian of the Year, and the Cynopsis Gaming Tempest Award Future Leader award recipient. In her spare time, she serves on esports organization advisory boards and is the President of the California Esports Association.
