Julia Fallon is the Executive Director of the SETDA, where she collaborates with U.S. state and territorial digital learning leaders to empower the education community in leveraging technology for learning, teaching, and school operations. Under her leadership, SETDA has played a pivotal role in developing the U.S. Department of Education’s 2024 National Educational Technology Plan, among other significant initiatives. Julia's dedication to advocating for equitable access to educational technology has earned her and SETDA various accolades and recognition within the education sector. Julia's vision for the future centers on ensuring that all students have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed in a digital world. Her passion for education and technology is rooted in her belief that every learner deserves the opportunity to thrive in a modern, technology-enhanced classroom. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Julia is the proud mama of a high school sophomore and a creative spirit who discovered a love for DJing during the pandemic. She mixes tech house music and live streams on Twitch most Friday nights, cultivating a vibrant and connected online community.
