Jorge Fernández is the Chief Information Officer at Information Technology Services (ITS) for Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS). Jorge oversees the technology infrastructure and solutions that support over 400,000 users, including students, teachers, staff, and community members. Jorge holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from Barry University and an M.S. in Management Information Systems from Florida International University. His career at M-DCPS has been marked by significant contributions, including leading the digital convergence project, providing comprehensive IT support, and implementing complex enterprise systems.
