Jessica Doherty serves as the Director of Performance Evaluation for Hillsborough County Public Schools (Tampa, Florida). She provides leadership for the district’s employee evaluation systems and clinical education programs. Jessica has extensive experience in a variety of school and district-based settings, including classroom teacher, district-based teacher evaluator, faculty supervisor, district office administrator, educational consultant, and is certified as a human resources professional by the Society for Human Resources Management. She also provides mentorship to school districts and educational organizations through the Smithsonian Science Education Center. Jessica has overseen several multi-million-dollar grants from various agencies, including the US Department of Education, the Gates Foundation, and the Dell Foundation. Ms. Doherty has presented at numerous state and national conferences, including multiple USDOE Teacher Quality Programs Education Summits, Learning Forward Annual Conference, American Federation of Teachers Annual Conference, Future of Education Technology Annual Conference, and the Council of Great City Schools Annual Conference.
