Dr. Jennifer Polychronakos, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction at the Comsewogue School District, supports teaching and learning in grades K-12. She provides professional development to faculty with a deep focus on Problem Based Learning. In this role, Dr. Polychronakos works with administration, entire faculties, individual departments and grade levels, and small groups of teachers to promote elements of PBL into students’ learning experiences. Spending the prior seven years recrafting the PBL process, easy to implement solutions and activities support teacher learning. Dr. Polychronakos serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Hofstra University in the Specialized Programs in Education.
