James Mungall has been an English Literature and Literacy teacher for over a decade, with experience in inner-city schools and currently teaching remotely online. He is also a self-published author writing both fantasy and children’s books. He is currently working on a non-fiction book about teaching English Language Arts in the era of Artificial Intelligence. James earned his degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, where he currently resides with his wife and three children. He is deeply passionate about language, linguistics, and literature, believing in the profound importance of storytelling. James emphasizes that storytelling, whether factual or fictional, has been humanity's primary mode of sharing essential truths about themselves, creation, and the divine. He advocates that regardless of one’s interests—be it metaphysics, video games, mathematics, carpentry, welding, or professional wrestling—everything hinges on the telling of a story.
