Douglas Picard is a retired Air Force logistician and teaches engineering and manufacturing at the Greene County Career Center in Xenia, Ohio. His pedagogy focuses on helping his students recognize and overcome unique challenges in underserved communities. He has also conducted research on engineering innovations in developing countries through the University of Dayton and Central State University, where he is a research mentor for their RET.
