Doug Austin, Chief Technology Officer at SSD, brings over a decade of experience to his role. Joining SSD in 2004 as a systems administrator, he next assumed the position of Director of Information Systems in 2011 and subsequently interim Chief Technology Officer in 2012 before his permanent appointment in 2013. Prior to his tenure at SSD, Austin was the Director of Technology Services at New Horizons Computer Learning Center. His extensive expertise is underscored by a plethora of certifications spanning security technologies, networking, enterprise systems administration, and enterprise resource planning software technologies. Notably, Austin's influence extends beyond SSD; his dedication to advancing education technology earned him a place on the Missouri Education Technology Leaders (METL) Board of Directors. In this capacity, he shares his knowledge with fellow technology professionals statewide, championing the effective implementation of technology solutions in educational settings.
