After the horror of the school shootings at MSD on 2.14.18, Haneski, and her therapy dog River have learned to embrace peace and joy every day. She shares books and empowers students daily in her library media center, where students and teachers can relax and reduce anxiety in the new quiet space she created from an old unused equipment room. Her daily mantra is, "It's going to be a good day, and we are going to get a lot done." But first, let us take a few breaths.
