Chris Higle serves as the Chief Technology Officer for the Ceres Unified School District, where he has directed Education Technology Services for over 13 years. With more than 22 years of experience in K-12 technology support and leadership, Chris brings a wealth of expertise to his role. He is currently the Chair of the California IT in Education (CITE) Central Valley North Regional Group and serves as a mentor for the CITE-certified CTO program. In 2015-16, he received the Administrator of the Year award from Ceres Unified, followed by the ACSA Region 7 Technology Administrator of the Year award and the CUE Technology in Learning Leadership Affiliate Award in 2016. These accolades recognized his successful launch of a comprehensive K-12 1:1 device implementation and support program. Furthermore, in 2024, Ceres Unified was recognized as a finalist in Technology for the District of Distinction award by District Administration for its work in technology and organizational transformation. Beyond his professional achievements, he values leisure activities such as traveling and outdoor adventures, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle.
