Mrs. Carrie Wuensch-Harden
Library Teacher,
Hamilton/SOTA I
United States
While working at Walt Disney World in Florida I decided to continue my education, and in August 2003 earned my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of South Florida, an ALA Accredited School. After completing my degree, I left Walt Disney World to join the staff at the Lake Wales Public Library as a Youth Services Librarian. In 2008, I decided to move home to Wisconsin where I took a position as the Assistant Branch Manager of the North and South Community Libraries. In January of 2014, I was promoted to the Branch Manager of the South Community Library. The following year I attended Saint Mary's University in Winona, Minnesota for a one year graduate program which enabled me to earn my classroom license and a Master's in Instruction. With my new degree in hand I was able to secure a position in the School District of La Crosse as a Library and HPL Teacher in an elementary school. My family and I took on a new adventure by moving to Windsor, England. In the United Kingdom, I am a librarian at a secondary school.
