Carmen Bergmann has over 27 years of experience in education as a teacher, leader, coach, consultant and author. She spent 23 years in public education in Illinois as a teacher and leader before entering the international consultancy with Challenging Learning. She is currently principal at Thomas Metcalf School, a laboratory school at Illinois State University. Carmen has specialized in curriculum development and pedagogy throughout her career and continues supports educators at all levels in all content areas. She has a master’s degree and a Doctorate from Illinois State University and continues to engage in educational research and curriculum design.
