High School District Technology Director in Western Chicago suburbs, I focus on connecting best practices in classroom with educational technology and streamlined processes for delivering and managing content and instructional tools. I am a former Assistant Principal for Middle School and 8th grade Social Studies teacher, and my current role blends building and district administrative responsibilities which allows for more direct collaboration with stakeholders. Lowering the veil of instructional ed. tech tools and making operations more transparent and user-friendly has been our department's primary goal post-pandemic, and our district has made building culture and dynamic instruction its highest priority in determining successful administrative implementation. Echoing the mindset of my collaborative leaders, my primary focus is to support those who are closest to the learners. Insights gained from prior instructional administrative roles provide insight into end-user experiences, collaborative processes, current legal and evaluative needs, as well as a lens into the daily needs of our staff.
