Robert Cox is the Director of School Success for Project Lead the Way (PLTW) and has spent his time in education as a classroom teacher, district grant administrator, and Supervisor of Magnet Schools in the 7th largest school district in the United States: Hillsborough County Public Schools, Tampa, FL. As the PLTW Director of School Success he supports efforts to engage students, support teachers, and strengthen schools through STEM education in the states of Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi. His work with PLTW is engineered toward equipping teachers with tools that help them grow the next generation of STEM leaders in our communities. He believes that engaging educational opportunities should be for ALL students and not reserved for just the few. To that end, he works to find affordable and impactful pathways for schools to establish PLTW programs for students from all walks of life so that they can be excited about their school day, spending it exploring with their peers and...having fun!
