Belinda Ann Flucker, born and raised in Hampton, Virginia, is an accomplished educator with a BS in Education and History from the University of South Alabama and an MBA from Mount Nazarene University in Ohio. She has dedicated the last eight years to Hampton City Schools, where she currently excels as a Digital Learning Specialist and K-2 Curriculum Designer for their virtual school, the FLEx Program.
In her role, Belinda has significantly contributed to the enhancement of digital learning by crafting immersive adventure lessons for grades K-5. These innovative lessons immerse students in role-playing games that challenge them to apply problem-solving skills learned in class. Her commitment to educational excellence is evident in her continuous efforts to update and refine the FLEx K-2 curriculum and interactive notebook content based on the latest standards.
Belinda's professional achievements include leading multiple professional development workshops and organizing weekly PD sessions to support her colleagues. She actively collaborates and co-teaches with teachers to enhance the learning experience, ensuring that innovative teaching methods are effectively integrated into the classroom.
