Becky Funderburk is an experienced educator with 21 years of experience. Becky brings 13 years of classroom experience as a former special education teacher for grades 6-8. Later, she transitioned into the role of an instructional coach at the middle level, where she supported and empowered fellow educators with personalized learning practices. Currently, Becky serves York School District 1 as the Coordinator of Instructional Design in York, South Carolina, where she supports a team of Instructional Design Specialists in serving a K-12 district. Her educational journey includes earning a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in special education. Becky is recognized as a South Carolina Competency-Based Education Fellow, demonstrating her commitment to innovative and student-centered approaches.
