Dr. Ann K. Laber Anders serves as the Supervisor of Library Media Programs and Instructional Technology advocating for educational advancement in Washington County Public Schools, MD. As a district leaders, she has successfully orchestrated transformative initiatives overseeing the expansive deployment of Chromebooks, the creation of a comprehensive Library Media Curriculum, the integration of Digital Citizenship education from PreK-12 and the development of systemic guidelines for the implementation of generative AI into instructional practice. By facilitating the Digital Tool Review Committee, she collaborates across departments and with Information Technology teams to managed EdTech projects, ensuring equivalent access and alignment with overarching educational objectives. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor for thesis Research and Design and works at the MD state level developing and implementing Computer Science Education. Dr. Laber Anders is driven by her passion for educational excellence and the belief that every student deserves equitable access to a cutting edge education.
