Derek Kaufman is the a Instructional Facilitator of Computer Science, starting July 24. Derek is an experienced educator with over 24 years of experience. He previously taught Spanish I through AP, served as the School Improvement Coordinator, and most recently as the IFT at Mercer Middle School. Derek’s passion lies in leveraging technology to enhance student learning and prepare them for future success. In his free time, Derek enjoys cooking diverse cuisines, staying active through exercise, and traveling with his wife Janine, and their Maltipoo, Cali. His well-rounded background allows him to approach Computer Science integration and education with creativity and innovation.
