Mr. Andrew Stevens is the Principal of Arcola Elementary School! With a rich history of 15 years at Arcola and in his ninth years in the pivotal role of Principal, he brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the field of education. He started as a 3rd and 5th grade teacher before beginning as a gifted resource teacher and assistant principal at Arcola, his journey has been marked by a commitment to fostering excellence in students. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, his educational journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Longwood University, followed by certifications in Gifted Education from the University of Virginia and a Master's in Educational Leadership/Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. Outside of school, he finds great joy in family time, outdoor adventures, and cultivating gardens with his wife and two sons. A fervent supporter of the Washington Commanders and Washington Capitals, his passion extends beyond the classroom.
