Amy Brown is the Campus Instructional Technologist at Highland Park High School in Dallas, TX. She continues to teach Professional Communications and support the STEAM, Digital Media and Audio Visual classes throughout the Year. As the Campus Instructional Technologist, Amy focuses on training and supporting her staff and peers to utilize educational technology tools that help meet the needs of the students. Amy has presented with Region 11 in Texas, the Technology Camp hosted by Allen ISD, and has led multiple training and curriculum writing sessions at Highland Park ISD, Allen ISD, and Plano ISD. It is her experience as a Mentor, Coach, Sponsor, teacher, and leader that has given her a unique perspective for the needs of her campus. She hopes to utilize her training and skills to help educators create classroom communities that are innovative and encourage students to take ownership of their learning and educational goals.
