Amanda Gordon holds a BA in Elementary Education from Central College in Pella, Iowa, and has recently received her MA in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Central Florida. She has served in a variety educational settings as a curriculum and assessment specialist for the past 23 years. Currently she is the Curriculum Specialist at an independent school in downtown Orlando, and has the privilege of working alongside many talented teachers to help implement exciting and innovating STEM/STEAM lessons into their classrooms. Amanda has worked closely with the STEAM Lab instructor for the past five years to create a successful TK-8 STEAM program that utilizes a wide variety of technological skills that focus on the 4C's of education, as well as integrate SEL into the STEAM curriculum. Amanda has a passion for continuing education through being committed as a lifelong learner who seeks out opportunities to apply new skills and strategies into classrooms to enhance curriculum across all subject areas.
