Alan Kirby’s adventures after graduating Pittsburg State University have included working for an avionics company, facilitating youth leadership in classrooms, and teaching math and biology at the middle school and high school levels. He’s been a trusted advisor at Pitsco Education since 2012, visiting schools and meeting with educators to find solutions for student success. Always on the go, Kirby is an active ceramics maker and instructor, bladesmith, scuba diver, lifeguard, and Boy Scout leader and Brotherhood member in the Order of the Arrow. His collective experiences all solidified the importance of STREAM education for our students’ futures.
