Learn how the Niswonger Foundation, in partnership with the TN Dept of Education, is serving rural and urban, low-income student populations by providing rigorous and engaging online Advanced Placement courses. The Niswonger Foundation is a non-profit educational foundation located in Greeneville, Tennessee. The foundation's online program, Niswonger Online, has been serving students in the online realm since 2011. In 2021 Niswonger Online partnered with the TN Dept of Education to create TN AP Access for ALL program. This program serves students in 98% of the public school systems in Tennessee, offering 22 fully online AP courses taught by licensed and APSI-trained TN teachers. This partnership is bringing A.P. courses to students who were never afforded this opportunity in the past. Learn how this program was conceived and how school systems in Tennessee are working together to provide the courses their students need and want.
