Threading and Embedding Computer Science and Computational Thinking in the PreK- 12 classroom

January 16, 2025
SOUTH 230G
School Leaders
Computer Science and computational thinking are not stand-alone subjects. Both disciplines can be found in every subject we teach. Therefore, it is imperative that we develop a PreK – 12 curriculum that allows learners to experience CS concepts and skills in everything they do. This session will explore Mineola’s Prek-12 Computer Science curriculum that concludes with every ninth grader taking AP Computer Science Principles.

Dr. Michael Nagler, Superintendent - Mineola UFSD
