January 14, 2025
SOUTH 320D
Classroom Leaders
The global esports industry is now larger than music and movies combined. Equip your students for careers in this rapidly growing industry by creating an esports program that does much more than play games. In this workshop, we will take a deep dive into the esports ecosystem, emphasizing the four domains: strategists, organizers, content creators and entrepreneurs. An esports club or class can be a fantastic “lab” for learning and practicing skills, developing a portfolio, findings strengths, and pursuing passions. Whether you’re planning for a classroom and out-of-school environment, you will gain strategies for meaningful project-based learning through esports.
