Leveling the Playing Field with Immersive Reader

January 16, 2025
SOUTH 331C
Inclusion Leaders
Reading has become increasingly challenging for many students. More students are being diagnosed with a wide range of learning disabilities that affect their ability to read. As both reading and comprehension are critical to student success, more and more students have “read out loud” added to IEPs. Others go untested and never get the reading supports they so desperately need. This is why immersive reader is critical to student success. Students can now become independent readers- increasing retention and confidence levels. Students no longer have to ask for materials to be read. In this session, come learn how to show all students how to utilize this feature in texts, online and digital resources. Give students a critical tool to succeed.
