January 15, 2025
EXPO HALL LEADERSHIP ROUND TABLES: BOOTH 3386
Classroom Leaders
AI, Coding, Robotics and Data Science are essential components of every “Future-Ready” curriculum, offering accessible, engaging learning experiences, with hands-on learning, using technology-rich devices and applying data science concepts to real world problems. Giving students opportunities to design their learning experiences, input code and make devices “work”, “test” their ideas, and apply their skills to real-life problems is “game-changing” learning! These positive learning experiences increase achievement and social-emotional health. Participants will actively engage with a broad range of new, technology-rich robotics tools and devices and AI and Data Science courseware, and learn about effective, self-paced independent instructional AI courses that teach expansive AI and Data Science concepts and skills, including a course for a Virtual Driverless Car. Implementing AI, Robotics, Coding and Data Science provides accessible learning portals for ALL diverse students, including ELL’s, with students developing computational and critical thinking skills and enhancing students’ creativity. Participants will learn differentiation strategies, adding complexity and rigor to tasks, as students gain skills and understanding. Participants will also learn practical strategies that can be easily adapted, and they will learn about successful implementations that can be replicated easily in their schools.
