Empowering Educators: A Personalized and Responsive Approach to Educator Wellbeing
January 16, 2025

School Leaders
In numerous instances, existing Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) programs and policies primarily concentrate on addressing students' social and emotional needs. While these areas are undeniably vital, they frequently neglect or even overlook the well-being of educators. This comprehensive workshop will examine and evaluate the underlying causes, catalysts, and subsequent effects on the educator workforce that can result from such an oversight. By scrutinizing current policies and practices, and exploring innovative strategies, we will identify ways to effectively and sustainably support the SEL needs of educators within our schools and districts. This session is also for school leaders who want to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to foster a more holistic approach to SEL, benefiting both students and educators, which in turn leads to a thriving educational environment.
