Is designing for the average student leaving many behind? Ready to transform your classroom into a more inclusive, accessible, and equitable space? Join our collaborative discussion to explore how AI tools, paired with Universal Design for Learning (UDL), can honor learner variability and address diverse learner needs. In this minds-on session, we’ll begin by analyzing learner profiles to see how example students access, engage with, and express their learning. Then, we’ll explore AI tools that make success possible for all students by leveling and translating text, creating personalized resources based on interests, addressing gaps in prior knowledge, supporting executive functioning, and more. Collaborate with fellow educators to identify innovative approaches and tools that enable learners to overcome obstacles and succeed on their terms. You’ll leave with practical strategies rooted in UDL and AI to create a learner-centered classroom where every student is empowered to thrive. Unlock the potential of equitable design and AI to transform your teaching.
