Join Dr. Joe Phillips, Chief Information Officer of Fulton County Schools, and his son Arden Phillips, an EdTech consultant and advocate for neurodiverse students, as they delve into the critical challenges that students with special needs face in today’s educational landscape. In their session, “How Districts Are Failing Students with Special Needs and How AI Can Help,” the father-son team will draw from both professional expertise and personal experience to discuss how AI technologies can be leveraged to create more inclusive and supportive learning environments. Arden, who has firsthand experience with Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD, will provide a unique perspective on the impact of these technologies. Together, they will explore innovative solutions that districts can implement to ensure that all students, especially those with special needs, receive the educational opportunities they deserve.
