Cultivating Digital Citizenship within Creative Projects

January 15, 2025
NORTH 210B
Coach Leaders
We will explore the integration of digital citizenship into student-driven creative projects, such as podcasts, presentations, websites, and digital books. Many teachers already have students create impressive multimedia products for learning and sharing, and this session will allow them to level up their assignments to prepare learners for the digital future. Participants will learn how to embed critical concepts of intellectual property, digital footprints, digital privacy, and accessibility into their project guidelines and assessments. We’ll discuss strategies for teaching students to navigate these aspects responsibly and creatively.
